Yay! New shit by that person or group who might or might not be based in Hicksville, NY and whose 2020 garage-/post-/eggpunk borderline-masterpiece Happyhappy made me exactly that. So now we get a new short playing Hi-Fi experience as well as some other, slightly less short and ever-so-slightly less Hi-Fi thing. Boring this certainly ain't and as for that other thing… i think i have some basic idea what they don't think they know the fuck they're doing and they're doing it just fine and it's fucking glorious and i love every fucking second of it!

In a week already pretty heavy on egg-related releases, all that's left for me to say about this debut EP is that the good egghead gospel seems to have reached the righteous people of Chile at last and that fact alone fills my heart with so much joy - of course also helped by this being such a fun little record.

Yet another Goodbye Boozy 7" by a trio whose lineup is the stuff wet dreams of today's distinguished garage-, synth- and eggpunk connoisseur are made of, including connections to Skull Cult and roughly half of the Warttman empire. The results are rather unsurprising…ly awesome!
Yup, accurate title for the third cassette by Minneapolis punk project Dummy aka Sean Alberts of Skull Cult, QQQL and Belly Jelly fame. Another metric ton of smart, quirky and at times surprisingly elaborate Garage-, Synth- and Egg-related weirdness that never fails to make me smile is being crammed into a rather convenient form factor here.
